The Authorized Book , the King James Bible, is blessed and kept pure. We have to believe in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 about the Scripture.
2 Tim. 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
He inspired it and preserved it. This is because the truth on preservation rests on the ability of God to do it not on man’s ability. Gen 18:14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
What is the sense of believing that God can do it and yet doubting if those He chose as instruments can’t carry it out (2 Peter 1:21)? What is the sense of believing that God had promised and there is none to fit on that promise? What is the sense of believing in God and finding errors in His words through perverted versions? How can we claim 100% on every fundamental doctrines of faith if our basis are erroneous? This is why we believed that God kept His words and it is the King James Bible . We do not consider the this bible as inferior to Hebrew and Greek text because in God’s word the former writings were not considered as more original. Even copies of them are called Scriptures and has equal authority. The King James Bible is two in one, the Hebrew and Greek in one book, it is complete and enough already. If ever Hebrew and Greek text are consulted it may add or shed some lights but apart from the working of the Spirit of God it can’t add or shed any light. So, understanding of it lies in the working of God’s Spirit and not merely because some originals were consulted. By God’s sovereign act He has preserved for us one Book
